Dag JESSEL

Dag JESSEL has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Dag most recently worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Scanbot SDK starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director/Chief Financial Officer at nox NachtExpress Group, a B2B logistics company, from September 2020 to June 2022. Before that, they held the same role at E.I.S. Aircraft Products and Services GmbH from October 2015 to August 2020.

Dag also worked as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Gardien Group, a B2B electronics company, from April 2011 to June 2015. Dag has experience in the aviation industry as well, having held the positions of Director Finance and HR North Asia at Deutsche Lufthansa AG from July 2009 to March 2011, and Director Mergers & Acquisitions at the same company from December 2004 to June 2009.

Additionally, Dag worked at Deutsche Lufthansa AG in various roles prior to their director roles, including Senior Project Manager Cost Management from August 2001 to July 2003, and Project Manager Operational Process Redesign from September 1999 to July 2001. Dag started their career as a Manager Aircraft System Engineering at Lufthansa Technik AG from July 1997 to August 1999, and as a Manager Product Development at Pars GmbH (Subsidiary of Siemens AG) from July 1996 to June 1997.

Dag Jessel's education history includes a variety of degree programs spanning several years. In 1991, they attended the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg and obtained a Dipl.-Ing. in Aerospace Engineering in 1995. Dag later pursued further education at the University of Hertfordshire, where they completed a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering from 1995 to 1996. In 2003, Dag attended INSEAD, where they earned an MBA in Business Administration, completing the program in 2004. Continuing their educational endeavors, they enrolled in the CFA Institute from 2006 to 2009, completing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. Finally, in 2010, Dag attended the London Business School, where they participated in the ADP for Executive Education.
