Mark Gehler, MBA, PHR has over 20 years of experience in various senior HR roles. Mark currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer at Scandinavian Designs, where they are responsible for all HR related areas, including payroll and benefits. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Senior Director of Corporate Human Resources at Albertsons Companies, where they oversaw a full range of HR activities and served as a strategic advisor to executive leadership. Mark also has experience in labor relations, having worked as a Labor Relations Manager at Safeway. Mark began their career as a Military Police Officer in the US Marine Corps and later transitioned to the private sector, working as a Human Resources Assistant at Defense Training Systems. Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, organizational development, talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
Mark Gehler, MBA, PHR has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law & Society from Penn State University. Mark also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Human Resource Management from Golden Gate University. In 2004-2005, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Police Operations from Palomar College. Additionally, they have obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in May 2015.
