Jakob Berning

Jakob Berning has extensive work experience in the fields of corporate finance, tax, treasury, risk management, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and transfer pricing. Jakob began their career at SKAT as a Transfer Pricing Specialist from August 1999 to November 2001. Jakob then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers and worked as a Director - Tax from November 2001 to September 2010. Since 2010, Jakob has been working at Scandinavian Tobacco Group, where they held various roles including Group Tax Director, Senior Vice President Tax, and SVP Tax, Treasury & M&A. Jakob'smost recent role at Scandinavian Tobacco Group is SVP Corporate Finance which began in August 2021.

Jakob Berning completed their Law degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1999. Jakob then pursued a degree in Finance at the Copenhagen Business School from 2000 to 2003.
