Christoph Mayer

Christoph Mayer is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Scandit since July 2023, with a robust background in computer vision and deep learning, particularly in visual tracking, segmentation, few-shot object detection, and active learning. Prior experience includes a PhD role at ETH Zurich from November 2016 to April 2023, where Christoph contributed to various industry projects and developed a Generic Object Tracker at Google as a PhD Student Researcher during August to November 2022. Additional experience encompasses roles as a Scientific Assistant at ETH Zurich, teaching assistance in engineering and mathematics, and internships at Disney Research and Super Computing Systems, where Christoph focused on audio communication, PCB design, and software development. Christoph holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich.
