Míchel Olmedo Cuevas

Míchel Olmedo Cuevas is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial law across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial EMEA at Scandit since February 2022, Míchel oversees EMEA and APAC commercial legal matters, including the negotiation of software-related agreements and the implementation of legal initiatives. Previous roles include Contracting Counsel Associate Manager and Specialist at Accenture, where responsibilities encompassed drafting and negotiating technology contracts. Míchel has also worked as an Innovation Lawyer at RCD, facilitating the commercialization of R&D products, and as an IP & IT Lawyer at TEKKIELAW ABOGADOS 2.0, contributing to a H2020 project. Early legal career experience includes an Attorney role at Ecija, focusing on IP agreements. Míchel holds a Master of Laws in IP & IT law from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad de Málaga.
