Magnus Karlsson

Magnus Karlsson is an experienced professional in procurement and project purchasing, currently serving as the Head of Drivetrain Project Purchasing at Scania Group since August 2011, having also held positions as Head of Engine Components Purchasing and Head of Interior Purchasing. In these roles, Magnus led a team of eight in sourcing for a new truck generation and played a key role in strategic purchasing for cab components and plastic raw materials, focusing on sourcing strategies and supplier development. Previous experience includes working as a Credit Administrator at SEB, where responsibilities included handling credit applications for mortgage loans. Magnus holds a Master of Science in Marketing from the Stockholm School of Economics, completed in 2012, and participated in a 14-month Graduate Trainee Program at Scania aimed at cultivating future leaders.
