Marcelo Ruiz Colovato

Marcelo Ruiz Colovato is an Industrial Process Engineer at Scania Group, with extensive experience in automation and IT for logistics and assembly processes. Since April 2017, Marcelo has been responsible for process and requirement mapping for Logistics IT systems in a Chinese Powertrain plant, leading the implementation of ERP, MES, and SCADA systems. Previous roles include designing automation layers, supporting the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies, and developing innovation projects in the Engine Workshop for Scania Latin America. Marcelo holds a Master's degree in Engineering and Innovation Management, a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Automation, and Robotics, and has studied Mechatronics at the University of Glasgow as a visiting student. Additionally, Marcelo possesses a Technical Diploma in Mechatronics.
