Mats Gunnarsson

Mats Gunnarsson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in commercial operations and leadership within the automotive industry. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial Operations at Scania Group since April 2017, Mats previously held key roles such as Senior Vice President for the Americas and President of Scania France. Mats's career also includes significant positions at the European Investment Bank as a Senior Advisor and various leadership roles within the Volkswagen Group and Scania subsidiaries across multiple regions. Mats holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Stockholm University, as well as advanced executive education from The Wharton School and corporate treasury qualifications.
