Ola Rugeland

Ola Rugeland is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and management within the automotive industry. Currently serving as Head of Chassis Development at Scania Group in Asia since September 2006, Ola has successfully established a new chassis development organization, developed localized product strategies, and integrated global R&D with local operations. Past roles include Senior Manager overseeing exhaust system designs and director of R&D at Scania India, where full product ownership of the Scania Metrolink was achieved. Additionally, Ola has contributed to sports as General Manager of Stockholm Mean Machines IF and as Head Coach of the Swedish national junior football team. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and an Executive Program in Industrial Management from the Stockholm School of Economics.
