Xiaomeng Zhu

Xiaomeng Zhu is currently an Industrial PhD Candidate at Scania Group, specializing in computer vision applications within manufacturing through the collaboration between Scania Smart Factory Lab and the KTH Robotics, Perception, and Learning department. With experience as a Data Scientist in Smart Factory, Xiaomeng Zhu has developed machine learning and deep learning solutions to automate manufacturing processes and implemented advanced hardware and software solutions in real environments. A visiting researcher at Northwestern University, Xiaomeng Zhu focuses on photometric stereo for smart metrology. Previous positions include a Consultant role at the International Consulting Network, where Xiaomeng Zhu integrated sustainable practices into engineering projects, and an internship in project management at Guangzhou Automobile Group. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Robotics, Perception, and Learning from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, a Master's in production engineering and management from KTH, and a Bachelor's in vehicle engineering from South China University of Technology.
