Rob Kohler

Rob Kohler has over 20 years of experience in research and development and program management in the medical device industry. Rob is currently serving as the Director of Research and Development at Scanlan International, Inc. where they lead the research and development department. Previously, they worked at Peytant Solutions, Inc. as a Research and Development Consultant, overseeing the development of regenerative medical devices. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Research and Development at Cardiovascular Systems Inc, where they were responsible for the development and research of the Diamondback Orbital Atherectomy System. Rob also served as the Director of Product Development and Operations at Alexandria Research Technologies, managing the development of tissue guided orthopedic joint replacement technology. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Product Development at Disc Dynamics, overseeing the development and manufacturing of implantable spinal disc nucleus devices. Rob started their career at Remmele Engineering as a Program Manager, responsible for managing machining and clean room assembly for medical component production. Throughout their career, Rob has demonstrated expertise in product development, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.

Rob Kohler received a Master's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Systems from the University of Minnesota. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, also from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, they studied Business Management at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, but the degree obtained in this field is not specified.
