Derek Brown

Derek Brown is a seasoned professional in project management with extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Senior VP of Project Management at Scannell Properties since August 2016, Derek previously held leadership roles such as VP of Project Management at DEEM and Director of Operations. Earlier career positions include Project Manager at Leach & Russell Mechanical, Estimator at Edwards Electrical & Mechanical, and Project Engineer at Bowen Engineering Corporation. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue University, obtained between 1997 and 2001, and possesses a strong skill set in estimating, sales, management, technology, finances, purchasing, design/build, engineering, coordination, drafting, scheduling, and labor.
