Valerie Becker

Valerie Becker is a seasoned real estate finance professional with extensive experience in the commercial real estate sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Capital at Scannell Properties since January 2021, Valerie also holds a board member position at The Milk Bank. Prior to these roles, Valerie was Vice President of Commercial Real Estate at The National Bank of Indianapolis and Director of Real Estate Finance - Capital Markets at Simon Property Group. Significant experience includes managing financial solutions for various property types, securing financing transactions, and conducting performance reviews for CMBS transactions at Fitch Ratings. Additionally, Valerie held multiple positions at SunTrust Bank, where responsibilities ranged from overseeing a high-risk loan portfolio to managing substantial commercial real estate client accounts. Valerie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
