Ofer Shapira

Ofer Shapira has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Ofer is currently the Head of North American Operations at Scanovate since April 2023. Before joining Scanovate, Ofer worked at Matrix IFS, where they held various positions. Ofer was the Chief Innovation and Technology Officer from April 2022 to April 2023 and the Managing Director, Financial Crimes Technology and Customer Success from January 2019 to April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director, Head of AML Practice Delivery Group from October 2014 to January 2019 and as a Sr. Consultant / AML Subject Matter Expert from October 2010 to September 2014.

Before joining Matrix IFS, Ofer co-founded Csoft Solutions and served as the Managing Partner from January 2006 to September 2010. Ofer also has experience working at Bank Hapoalim as a Senior Project Manager from 2001 to 2005, where they were responsible for initiating Internet financial services and products. Additionally, Ofer worked at Scepia as the Director of Operations from 1997 to 2001, at Hor-Tal as an Assistant Director in 1996, and at Plasson Ltd. as an Operations Manager Assistant in 1996.

Ofer Shapira's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Haifa, which they completed between 1993 and 1996. Later, they pursued an Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University, which they undertook from 2001 to 2002.
