Krishni Narine

Associate Director, Community Development at Scarborough Health Network Foundation (SHN Foundation)

Krishni Narine has extensive experience in community development and fundraising. Krishni started their career at The Scarborough Hospital Foundation in 2010 as a Development Assistant and progressed to become a Community Development Coordinator and then a Community Development Officer. In 2017, they joined Scarborough Health Network Foundation (SHN Foundation) as a Community Development Manager and later became an Associate Director, responsible for managing community initiatives. Currently, Krishni holds the role of Interim Director at SHN Foundation.

Krishni Narine completed their undergraduate studies from 2004 to 2008 at the University of Toronto - Victoria University, earning an Honours BA in Political Science and History. In 2009 to 2010, they attended Seneca Polytechnic and obtained a Human Resources Management Certificate, focusing on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. In 2013, they briefly attended George Brown College for Graphic Design. In terms of additional certifications, Krishni obtained a Lean Yellow Belt Certification in April 2016, and also completed a CPR/AED Level C certification course provided by the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
