Martin Betts

Martin Betts is the corporate chief and medical director of critical care at SHN. Martin previously worked as a resident in critical care medicine at the University of Toronto from January 2008 to June 2013. Martin also worked as a study coordinator in pharmacology and toxicology at AnorMED from August 2002 to August 2004. In addition, they were a team leader at ICBC from January 1998 to December 1999.

Martin Betts completed their MD at the University of Toronto, then became a Junior Fellow at Massey College. Martin later completed their BSc in Biochemistry & Microbiology at the University of Victoria.

They work with Avnish Mehta - Corporate Chief & Medical Director, Family Medicine, Nina Venka - Corporate President, Medical Staff Association, and Colette Rutherford - Corporate Chief & Medical Director, Obstetrics & Gynecology. Martin Betts reports to Elaine Yeung, Chief of Staff.
