Giles Knight is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial management, reporting, and strategy execution across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Finance Manager at Scatec Solar Netherlands B.V., Giles has effectively led a Financial Controlling team to meet key performance indicators, streamlined financial processes, and optimized tax strategies. Previous roles include Senior Finance & Asset Manager and CFO at Release by Scatec, where Giles successfully raised USD 102 million for projects in Africa and achieved clean audits for multiple start-ups. With expertise in corporate governance, treasury management, and process improvement, Giles has held significant positions at Betfred, Phumelela Gaming & Leisure Limited, Avis Fleet, and Barloworld Logistics, among others. A graduate of the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting and Finance, Giles also possesses a solid educational foundation in financial principles from Deloitte South Africa as a Trainee Accountant.
