Terje Melaa

Terje Melaa is an accomplished engineering and technology executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy and telecommunications sectors. As SVP of Engineering and Technology at Scatec Solar since May 2017, Terje oversees the system design of utility-scale solar plants, energy storage solutions, project execution, technology roadmapping, and supplier management. Prior roles include Operational Director at Eltek AS, where Terje managed contract manufacturing operations and supply chain development across multiple regions, and Senior Manager at Accenture, focusing on project management in communication and high-tech industries. Terje's earlier experience includes senior project management at Telenor, where significant market initiatives were launched, and research as a Senior Research Scientist at ABB Corporate Research. Terje holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, along with business management education from BI Norwegian Business School and Norges Handselshøyskole Kursvirksomhet.
