Roar Haugland

Roar Haugland is the EVP of Sustainable Business & HSSE at Scatec Solar. Roar has over 25 years of experience in business development and management, with a focus on renewable energy and advanced materials. Prior to joining Scatec Solar, they were the Vice President of Business Development at Scatec Innovation AS, where they were responsible for incubating new industrial ventures. Roar has also held management positions at HP and IBM. Haugland is a driven leader with a proven track record of success in developing and launching new businesses. Roar is passionate about making a positive impact on the world through sustainable business practices.

Roar Haugland completed a Master of Science in Material Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

They work with Torstein Berntsen - EVP Power Production, Snorre Valdimarsson - EVP & General Counsel, and Mikkel Tørud - Chief Financial Officer. Roar Haugland reports to Raymond Carlsen, Chief Executive Officer.
