Jake Lowther

Jake Lowther is a Specialist Counsel and Legal Counsel at SCC Arbitration Institute since May 2023. Previously, Jake served as an Editor and Contributor at Mundus International from January 2019 to November 2024, and as an Associate at Magnusson from February 2020 to May 2023, contributing to dispute resolution and M&A teams. Additionally, Jake held a position as a Visiting Professor at the University of Puerto Rico, teaching a course on International Dispute Resolution. Prior roles include Foreign Legal Specialist at KCAB International, internships at Hanefeld Rechtsanwälte and the German Institution of Arbitration, and a Lawyer role within the Corporate - Infrastructure team at Ashurst. Jake's academic background includes a Juristexamen from Stockholm University, an LLM in International Dispute Resolution from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and multiple legal qualifications from The Australian National University and The University of Notre Dame Australia.
