Bouchaib N. has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades, starting with their role as Director of Product Marketing at JDSU in 1996. Bouchaib later served as Vice President Commercial & Defense Sales at Princeton Lightwave, which was started by a group of high power laser scientists. In 2009, they founded Irridis LLC, which specialized in providing sales and marketing services. Bouchaib'smost recent role was as Vice President of Business Development at SCD.USA Infrared, LLC, where they also served as the Director of Business Development for seven years. During their tenure, they aligned engineering and product support resources with markets, which led to double-digit growth, and led product strategy for the US market, resulting in 30% of sales from new products. Bouchaib also played a significant role in taking new business to 60% of the company sales.

Bouchaib N. holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Physics from Centrale Méditerranée. Bouchaib also completed a program in Optoelectronics and Lasers at Heriot-Watt University. Prior to this, Bouchaib attended Lycee La Martiniere Montplaisir in Lyon and Lycee Pablo Picasso in Perpignan, but did not pursue any degrees there. Additionally, Bouchaib has obtained several certifications through edX, including The Analytics Edge, Explore Statistics with R, and Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python.
