Chuck Carlberg is the President and Founder of Carlberg Branding & Advertising, a role held since June 1971. Previously, Chuck served as Principal Brand Creative at richards/carlberg from 1971 until January 2022 and played a vital role in the branding agency's creative endeavors. Between 1986 and 2006, Chuck was President of Rives Carlberg, where a significant milestone was achieved by purchasing the agency back from Young & Rubicam, making it Houston's most creative agency. Chuck's earlier experience includes serving as Creative Director at Rives, Smith, Baldwin Carlberg and Smith, Smith, Baldwin & Carlberg, where the foundations for success in the advertising industry were established. Chuck began the career at Aylin Advertising as Creative Director. Chuck holds a B.S. in Advertising, Psychology, and Creative Writing from the University of Houston, earned between 1961 and 1966.
