Rick Elbaum currently serves as Senior Counsel at the New York City Economic Development Corporation since 2023 and holds positions on the Board of Advisors for Columbia Climate School and as a Board Member for Scenic Hudson, Inc., both since 2021 and 2019, respectively. Elbaum was a Founding Partner at Lakefront Consulting from 2020 to 2023 and served as Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at A+E Networks from 2000 to 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Environmental & Energy Law from New York University School of Law, a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from Yale University, alongside a Japanese Studies fellowship at Kumamoto University. Additional executive education was completed at Harvard Business School.
