As Vice President of the Blue Mountains Accommodation and Tourism Association and Managing Director of Scenic World Blue Mountains, Hammon oversees one of Australia's most visited tourist attractions. Scenic World Blue Mountains

Scenic World is Australia's most visited privately-owned tourism attraction, with over one million visitors annually. Set within the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, the company is a third generation family business. Established in 1945 when Harry Hammon converted the abandoned Katoomba Colliery into the Scenic Railway, it continues to be owned and operated by the same family. Scenic World offers four attractions including: Scenic Railway - the world's steepest train Scenic Skyway - highest cablecar in Australia Scenic Cableway - steepest and largest cablecar in Australia Scenic Walkway - longest elevated boardwalk in the Southern Hemisphere Scenic World is now managed by Anthea Hammon and is one of the largest employers in the Blue Mountains, employing over 160 local residents.
