Beryl Dakers

Beryl Dakers has extensive experience in the field of cultural programming and outreach. Beryl served as the Director of Cultural Programming/ Outreach at SCETV and was a member of the Board of Trustees at the Historic Columbia Foundation. Beryl also held the position of Board Member at the South Carolina Arts Alliance. Beryl has a strong background in leadership and completed the South Carolina Leadership program in 1989.

Beryl Dakers pursued their education in a sequential manner. Beryl started their academic journey at Syracuse University-College Honors Program in 1967, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in American Studies and TV-Radio News Journalism in 1971. Following that, they enrolled at Harvard University Graduate School of Social Relations from 1971 to 1972, focusing on Personality Psychology.
