Sean Birch is an experienced audio production professional with a diverse background in radio and podcasting. Currently serving as the Director of South Carolina Public Radio at SCETV since December 2017, Sean has also worked as a freelance audio producer and engineer from August 2016 to January 2018. Prior to that, Sean produced and co-hosted the "Deemable Tech" podcast from January 2012 to October 2016, focusing on technology news and reviews. Experience includes producing the flagship daily live radio talk show "First Coast Connect" at WJCT from October 2011 to August 2016, where supervision of editorial tone and production quality was paramount. Sean started in the industry as a Digital Imaging Technician for Dean Stewart Photography from May 2005 to August 2006. Sean holds a B.A. in Radio/Television Production from the University of Central Florida, earned between 2007 and 2010.
