Schipp Ames has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Sales Representative at Softdocs, formerly known as AIG Technology, until 2007. Schipp then joined NCR Corporation as a National Accounts Manager, responsible for managing accounts in the central region of the U.S. for the financial solutions division, with a focus on selling ATM equipment to banks and credit unions. In 2008, Schipp took on the role of Political Director at South Carolina REALTORS® until 2012. Schipp then transitioned to the South Carolina Hospital Association, where they held multiple roles, including Manager of Advocacy Communications, Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, Vice President of Communications, Education, and Member Services, and currently Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Communications.
Schipp Ames attended the University of South Carolina from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, with a focus on General Studies.

South Carolina Hospital Association is a private, not-for-profit organization made up of some 100 member hospitals and health systems and about 900 personal members associated with our institutional members. The South Carolina Hospital Association was created in 1921 to serve as the collective voice of the state’s hospital community. The Association is proud to be a part of the state’s hospital industry, adding value to hospitals’ efforts to care for the people of South Carolina. By helping to keep South Carolina’s hospitals healthy, we are helping to keep our state healthy.
