Doug Austin has a diverse and extensive work experience in the marketing and advertising industry. Doug is currently working as the VP of Growth & Innovation at Schaefer Advertising Co. Prior to this, Doug founded their own company called Austin Amplifies, where they provided marketing, innovation, growth, and business consulting services to communications agencies and brand marketers globally.

Doug also served as a Board Member for The Aquaculture Coalition from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they worked at Marlin Network as the SVP of Growth & Innovation from 2013 to 2016, and as the VP of Business Development from 2008 to 2013. Marlin Network specializes in food marketing, and Doug was responsible for business development and channel expertise in food service, restaurants, retail grocery, retail non-food, family entertainment, and equipment.

Doug also held the role of SVP and Instigator at NOBLE from 2003 to 2008, where they were responsible for account-specific marketing, product and strategy innovation, and promotions for key accounts such as Schwan's brands, Frito-Lay, and Hickory Farms. Additionally, they contributed to strategic brainstorming sessions and insights gathering.

Prior to NOBLE, Doug worked as a Group Account Director at Zipatoni from 2000 to 2003, where they provided promotional strategic leadership for multiple brands in the Miller beer portfolio. Doug also worked at Noble as a Management Supervisor and Team Leader from 1995 to 2000, at Fuqua and Eyre as an Account Supervisor from 1990 to 1995, at The Marketing Continuum as an Account Supervisor from 1988 to 1990, and at AC&R/DHB & Bess as an Account Executive from 1987 to 1988.

Doug Austin attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 1982 to 1986 where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Doug'sfield of study was specifically focused on Marketing, Advertising, and Management.
