Jake Yarbrough

Jake Yarbrough has extensive work experience in marketing and advertising. Jake most recently served as the Managing Director at Schaefer Advertising Co. since December 2017. Prior to that, they worked at HCB Health as the Account Director - DFW General Manager from May 2016 to December 2017.

Yarbrough also worked at Global Prairie as an Account Director from January 2010 to May 2016, where they were responsible for leading teams and delivering strategic planning and counsel for multiple Fortune 500 clients. Jake was successful in creating and executing marketing campaigns for Dean Foods, specifically surrounding changes to the value chain.

From July 2009 to January 2010, Yarbrough was the President of 8th Idea, where they focused on combining and interpreting existing ideas in fresh and innovative ways.

Prior to this, they worked at GCG Marketing as the Marketing Director from August 2005 to July 2009. In this role, they managed key agency accounts and led business development activities. Notably, they repositioned Misys as a physician-business consulting company and achieved their annual sales lead goals ahead of schedule.

Yarbrough also has teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor at Texas Christian University from August 2006 to May 2007.

Earlier in their career, they served as the Vice President of Maverick Advertising from March 1999 to August 2005, where they managed agency operations and client relationships. Jake led successful campaigns, including a PSA issues campaign featuring Betty White, which generated significant media impressions at no cost.

Yarbrough's marketing and advertising expertise extends to their time at Stuart Bacon, where they held the role of Vice President from November 1996 to March 1999. Jake managed top accounts, implemented a "Vision Framework" for the company, and contributed to a 20-percent growth in billings through successful new business pitches.

Jake began their career at Paul Lazzaro & Associates as a Vice President from May 1993 to November 1996.

Jake Yarbrough attended Texas Christian University from 1989 to 1993. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.
