Bastian Sauerberg

Bastian Sauerberg currently serves as the Head of Corporate Development & Strategy and Head of Strategy Execution Program at Schaeffler since February 2017. Prior to this role, Bastian was a Principal at A.T. Kearney from November 2007 to January 2017, focusing on strategic operations within the industrial goods, automotive suppliers, and wind industries. Bastian's expertise encompasses supply chain management, operational excellence, factory assessments, value chain optimization, supplier development, and business transformation, among other areas. Additional consulting experience includes positions at Siemens Advanta Consulting, Arthur D. Little, and roles in cost controlling and treasury at Deutsche Bank and Daimler AG, respectively. Bastian holds a Diplom-Betriebswirt in International Business Administration from the European School of Business and a Graduado Superior en Ciencias Naturales in International Business from ICADE Universidad Pontificia Comillas Madrid.
