Chief Financial Officer at Schaeffler

Christophe Hannequin (b. 1976) studied at Bordeaux Graduate School of Management (KEDGE) in France and graduated in 1999 with a Master of Science. He also earned an MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business (Babcock) in the USA.

In 1999, Christophe Hannequin began his professional career as Plant Controller for the USA and Canada at Saint-Gobain Sekurit, an international glass, ceramics, and concrete manufacturer based in Paris. From 2002 to 2004, he served as Director of Finance and Administration (USA and Canada).

From 2004, he worked for the automotive supplier Plastic Omnium, first as Controller for Manufacturing Operations North America and then as Director of Finance for the USA.

In 2008, Christophe Hannequin joined the international tire manufacturer Michelin. Until 2022, he held various management positions, primarily in the field of finance, in the USA, Canada, and France. His last role at Michelin was as CFO for the global Business Line Service and Solutions.

Between 2022 and 2024, he was Group Chief Financial Officer at the JCB Group in Great Britain, a leading manufacturer of construction, industrial, and agricultural machinery.

In January 2025, Christophe Hannequin joined Schaeffler as designated CFO and future member of the Board of Managing Directors. In September of the same year, he took over the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Schaeffler Group, with responsibility for Finance and IT.
