Jan Wittenberg

Jan Wittenberg is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Since January 2018, Jan has served as General Counsel for the Schaeffler Group and General Counsel for Europe. Prior to this, Jan held the position of General Counsel at Sivantos Group from January 2015 to August 2017, contributing to the company's successful spin-off from Siemens and guiding its investment by EQT in the healthcare sector. Jan's legal career began at Siemens, where from April 2001 to December 2014, responsibilities included General Counsel and Compliance Officer for Healthcare Audiology Solutions, General Counsel for South East Asia and Thailand, and Senior Legal Counsel focusing on M&A and automotive sectors. Jan holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Bayreuth, earned between 1992 and 1997.
