Jarno Suomela is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development, product portfolio management, and strategic transformation within the industrial sector. Currently serving as Vice President at Schaeffler since March 2019, Jarno leads initiatives in customer-centric innovation and partnerships, focusing on building IoT and AI platform technologies. Prior to Schaeffler, Jarno held various leadership roles at Landis+Gyr, driving the strategic development of software and device portfolios in the Smart Metering sector, and managing global systems and solutions. With a solid foundation in engineering and management, including a Master of Science from Tampere University of Technology and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Jyväskylä, Jarno is recognized for successful product introductions, strategic redefinitions, and improvements in customer value and market access throughout a diverse career spanning over two decades.
