Karol Sebesta

Karol Sebesta is an experienced engineering professional with a background in electronics and high-frequency electronics. Currently serving as Lead System Engineer and Technical Project Lead at Schaeffler since December 2021, Karol has been involved in the development and integration of Power Electronic Units within eAxle systems since October 2018 as Technical Project Manager at Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG. Previous roles include Hardware Manager at Valeo Siemens eAutomotive, focusing on Power Electronic Unit development, and Hardware Development Engineer at Siemens, specializing in control units for electric and hybrid vehicle power-train systems. Karol's early career included positions as a Hardware Developer at Continental and AREVA NP, working on combustion motor control units and technical documentation for nuclear power systems, respectively. Karol's educational background includes a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Slovak Technical University and a high school diploma in electronics.
