Mark Szameitat

Mark Szameitat currently holds the position of VP Corporate Treasury and Head of Capital Markets & Funding at Schaeffler, beginning in January 2024. Prior to this role, Mark served as Manager Corporate Finance at Porsche AG from January 2023 to December 2023, where key responsibilities included building the Corporate Finance function and managing financing transactions. Mark's experience at Schaeffler from January 2019 to December 2022 involved roles in Investor Relations and Corporate Finance, focusing on capital market communications, financing instruments, and the implementation of sustainable financing frameworks. Earlier, Mark worked at LBBW Landesbank Baden-Württemberg in Corporate Finance and Corporate Banking from May 2014 to December 2018, where responsibilities included negotiating structured finance transactions. Mark holds a Master of Science in Management from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, along with education from SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
