Tong Zhang

Tong Zhang is a Board Member at Schaeffler. Tong was previously an Associate Venture Catalyst at next47 from March 2017 to March 2018, where they were responsible for developing startup partnership and helping startup grow within Siemens networks. Their areas of interest include Industrial IoT, big data, and advanced AI applications in industrials. From June 2015 to March 2017, they were an Innovator at Siemens Technology to Business Center (TTB), where they developed startup partnerships for Siemens Business Units. Tong has also served as a Product Life-cycle manager at Siemens from July 2011 to February 2015, and as a Research Assistant at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Purdue University from October 2008 to October 2010.

Tong Zhang is an Exchange Ph.D student / Research Fellow at the school of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Purdue University. Tong received their Ph.D in Mechatronic Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology and B.S. in Automation and Information Technology from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
