Adelheid M.a.t. Byttebier

Adelheid M.A.T. Byttebier is an accomplished political figure and community leader with extensive experience in various public service roles. Currently serving as Vice Mayor in Schaerbeek since December 2012, Byttebier focuses on Dutch-language education, culture, equal opportunities, and procurement. Additionally, Byttebier is a member of the PAC political advisory committee at CIVITAS and has been involved with the Klarafestival since 2001. As a longstanding member of the Groen party, Byttebier's political career includes previous positions such as Member of Parliament and Minister of Welfare, Health, and Equal Opportunities with the Flemish Government. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Sociology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a degree in Corporate Governance from Vlerick Business School.
