Melinda Barber has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Melinda began their career as an Admissions Counselor/Office Assistant at Bethany College of Missions from September 2004 to September 2008, where they were involved in promoting and recruiting new students. From September 2008 to August 2010, they served as the Global Internship Team Leader at Bethany International, leading a team of college students on a 16-month internship program in Thailand.

In 2011, Melinda took on the role of Sales Representative at Ameridial Inc for a brief period from August to December. Melinda then joined SDI in February 2011 as the Central Operations Supervisor, managing a team specializing in problem-solving and ensuring accurate purchase order matching. During their time at SDI, they successfully led a project to transition accounts payable and matching processes to an automated system.

Since August 2014, Melinda has been associated with Schauer Group, Inc., where they have held various positions. Melinda started as a Quality Associate and eventually progressed to the role of Operations Specialist in January 2017. In August 2017, they became the Operations Manager and later took on the role of Director of Operations in July 2019.
