Stephen Phillips has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 as a Music Director and Web Administrator for The Frebis Avenue Church of God. Stephen then worked as a Lead Programmer and Database Administrator for Maxsimo Card Services, where they developed and maintained various LAMP based websites. In 2007, they became a Music Director and Web Administrator for The House Of Blessings Worship Center. From 2009 to 2010, Stephen worked as a PHP/MYSQL Contractor for primax STUDIO, developing large projects and making changes to client websites. Stephen then had a temporary contract position as a Front-end Web Developer and PHP/MYSQL Programmer for Resource Interactive, creating micro-sites for Hewlett-Packard and updating Fekkai.com. Stephen worked as a Web Developer for Switchbox Inc., developing interactive websites for both PHP and .NET teams. In 2012, they became a Web Developer for Leader Enterprises, where they built and maintained various websites and created Facebook applications for clients. Finally, Stephen became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Scheduling Institute in 2013, leading technology projects, migrating servers to Amazon Web Services Cloud, and overseeing integration with various platforms.

Stephen Phillips completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Digital Innovation Strategy & Management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education in May 2023.
