Schenectady City School District
Jamie Gentile has extensive experience in educational and support roles, currently serving as a Student Engagement and School Attendance Specialist and School Safety Officer at Schenectady City School District since January 2023. Prior to this, Jamie held multiple teaching and managerial positions at St. Anne Institute and City School District Albany, among others. Jamie's career began in 2001 with roles such as Teaching Assistant and Residential Manager, reflecting a strong foundation in educational support and youth services. Education includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Southern New Hampshire University, a Level III Teachers Certification from Capital Region BOCES, and ongoing studies towards a BA in Human Services at Southern New Hampshire University, focusing on Child and Family Services.

The Schenectady City School District, with a population of approximately 9,500 students, is one of the largest districts in the Capital Region.
