Lena Metzger

Lena Metzger has been an IT Project Manager and Product Owner focused on digitalization at DB Schenker since October 2016, with expertise in international and agile project management across teams in Germany, Poland, and China. Lena leads a diverse team, oversees financial controlling, resource management, and stakeholder engagement, while also managing external vendors and ensuring compliance with IT security and governance. Previous roles include acting as an IT Project Manager for digitalization projects and serving as a Project Management Officer, where responsibilities encompassed financial tracking and implementing workflows. Prior to DB Schenker, Lena worked as a Team and Management Assistant at DB Schenker Europe GmbH and gained early experience in project management and business development during internships at DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH. Lena holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Industrial Management from Hochschule Esslingen.
