Martin Heimann

Martin Heimann has extensive experience in information technology and procurement, currently serving as the Global Category Manager for Software, SaaS, and Application Management at DB Schenker since 1998. In this role, Martin is responsible for strategic sourcing, negotiation of major frame contracts, and leading tender and contract negotiations. Previous positions at DB Schenker include Global Procurement Manager - IT and Senior Global License Manager, with a comprehensive background in software licensing from various manufacturers such as IBM, SAP, and Oracle. Before joining DB Schenker, Martin served as the Vice President of Information Technology at K. H. Niewöhner, where responsibilities included overseeing the implementation of new business and logistics systems. Martin's education includes training at Siemens AG and a degree from the University of Münster.
