Einar Hålien

Einar Hålien is an accomplished media and public policy professional with extensive experience in leading editorial and organizational initiatives. Currently serving as Group Editor and Senior Public Policy Adviser at Schibsted since November 2014, Einar Hålien drives collaboration among subscription-based media houses, enhancing existing partnerships and exploring new opportunities. With a tenure at Schibsted Media Group beginning in October 2008, Einar Hålien has held several senior positions, including SVP Governance & Efficiency and SVP Organizational Development, focusing on improving organizational efficiency and overseeing a corporate Continuous Improvement initiative. Previous roles include Editor in Chief at Bergens Tidende and Regional Editor at Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK), where Einar Hålien was instrumental in program production and development. Einar Hålien's education includes a Del-master from BI Norwegian Business School and various degrees from the University of Oslo, University of Bergen, and Møre og Romsdal DH.
