Lukas Weidenbach

Lukas Weidenbach has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Lukas started their career as a Business Analyst at Avaloq in 2009. Lukas then worked as an Intern at UBS from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Schindler Group as a Group IFRS Specialist and later became an Area Controller for Zone APME. In 2014, they moved on to become a Group Controller at Jardine Schindler Group. Lukas then joined University of Zurich as a Research Assistant/PhD Student from 2008 to 2012. Most recently, they have served as Head of Controlling and later CFO at Schindler Deutschland.

Lukas Weidenbach's education history begins in 1997 at Schule Schloss Stein, where they completed their primary and secondary education. Lukas then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2001 to 2003. Subsequently, Lukas obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Zurich, graduating in 2008. During their time at the University of Zurich, they also participated in an Erasmus Exchange program at Luiss Guido Carli University from 2006 to 2007. Lukas furthered their education by completing a PhD in the field of Accounting and Control from the University of Zurich, which they earned in 2012.
