Carla de Geyseleer

Carla De Geyseleer has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Carla currently serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the AC at Polestar since June 2022. Carla also holds the position of CFO at Schindler AG since September 2022. Prior to these roles, Carla was a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the AC at Hilti (Schweiz) AG starting from January 2019. Carla also became a Member of the Advisory Board at the Geneva School of Economics and Management in the same year.

Before that, Carla worked at Volvo Cars as the Group Chief Financial Officer from October 2019 to April 2021. Carla served as the Chief Financial Officer at SGS from November 2014 to February 2019. Prior to that, Carla held various positions at Vodafone, including CFO from April 2012 to October 2014, and Director of Financial Controlling from April 2010 to April 2012.

Carla's earlier work experience includes the role of CFO at DHL Express Benelux from April 2007 to March 2010. Before that, they worked at DHL, where they were the Global Business Finance Director for DHL Express from 2006 to 2007. Carla also held the positions of Business Finance Director for DHL Express North America, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Emerging Markets, and Business Development Director for DHL Express Asia Pacific at DHL Express from 2003 to 2006.

Throughout their career, Carla De Geyseleer has gained significant expertise in financial management and leadership roles in various industries.

Carla De Geyseleer obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from IMD in the year 2005 and a University Degree in Economic & Financial Sciences from Economische School Sint Aloysius in the period 1986-1991.
