Eero Varila

Eero Varila has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Eero started their career at Luottokunta as an Accounting Assistant in 2005. Eero then moved on to Pohjola Asset Management where they worked as an Investment Assistant in 2006, a Back Office/Portfolio Assistant in 2007, and handled securities administration and accounting in 2008. In 2008, Eero joined Ernst & Young as an Auditor and later transitioned to the role of Senior Analyst in 2011 before becoming a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services in 2011. Since 2013, they have been associated with the Schindler Group where they served as the CFO of Schindler Finland until 2018, after which they became the CFO of Nordics. Eero then took on the role of Area Controller for Europe North before becoming the Lead Area Controller for Europe North and East in October 2018.

Eero Varila completed their Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku from 2002 to 2008. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree at the University of Macau from 2006 to 2007, but the field of study is unspecified.
