Hai Qiu

Hai Qiu has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Hai currently holds the position of President of the Schindler Escalator Division since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director of Schindler Lifts (Singapore) Pte Ltd from 2018 to 2022. Hai Qiu has also worked in Schindler China as the VP of Large Projects and Vice President of Top Range & Public Transportation. Before joining Schindler, they held managerial positions at GE Global Research and GE, where they worked on real-time controls, instrumentation, and industrial AI. Hai Qiu has also worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati and as an Associate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Hai has gained valuable expertise in research and development, leadership, and project management throughout their career.

Hai Qiu earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University from 1991 to 1999. Additionally, Hai Qiu obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the State University of New York at Albany from 2008 to 2010. Hai Qiu also holds a certification as a Black Belt in Six Sigma, although the details of the institution and the date of obtaining the certification are not provided.
