Karim Tawfik

Karim Tawfik is a seasoned Project Engineer currently with Schindler Group since November 2021, focusing on the Monorail Project and overseeing site acceptance tests and factory acceptance tests. Previously, Karim worked at Otis Elevator Co. from May 2019 to November 2021 as a Project Engineer for the Central Business District Towers, where responsibilities included creating project documents and coordinating between consultants and main contractors. Earlier experience includes roles as an Installation Engineer and Health Safety Environment Engineer for the Cairo Metro Project, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and as an ESHS Engineer at Safe Zone International on significant projects such as BenBan Solar Park. Additional roles include a Quality Assurance Engineer at EEI, where Karim implemented automotive quality systems, and various trainee positions across multiple organizations, gaining exposure to maintenance, production lines, and drilling operations. Karim holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics from the University of Wales and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Modern University for Technology & Information.
