Valerio Villa obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Automation from Politecnico di Milano, which they attended from 1991 to 1996. Valerio also received a second M.Sc. in industrial computer science from the same institution during the same time period. Additionally, Valerio Villa obtained a certification as a Functional Safety Engineer from TÜV Rheinland Group in February 2023.
