Elaine Devries

Elaine deVries is an experienced education manager currently serving at the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging as the Education Manager for the Ontario Centres for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care since September 2020, where responsibilities include managing the co-design and development of educational programs aimed at enhancing the quality of life in long-term care settings. Previous roles include professorship at Mohawk College and instructorships at the University of Guelph, Renison University College, Conestoga College, and more, focusing on English language programs and communications. Elaine holds a Master of Education in Distance Education from Athabasca University, a Master of Arts in English from the University of Toronto, and various other degrees and certifications related to education and language instruction.
